Geumcheon-gu Office Station is beside the main festival area. Public transit is the simplest option when the plaza is busy.
Plan mountain stops separately
Hoapsa Temple and Hoamsan Fortress are away from the central festival grounds. Visit them before the festival or on another half-day.

Geumcheon’s annual community festival fills the district office plaza and neighboring park with music, performances, activities, a flea market, and food trucks.
A local tradition
The festival began in 2003. Its program centers on residents taking part, including a community show choir that brings local voices onto the stage.
