Six acts of Korea’s traveling folk tradition
At a glance
The Baudeogi troupe presents the six core acts of namsadang performance: percussion, tightrope walking, plate spinning, acrobatics, mask dance, and puppetry.
Why Anseong
Anseong was an important base for traveling namsadang troupes and remains closely associated with Baudeogi, one of the tradition’s best-known performers.
Before you go
Shows run on Saturdays and Sundays from April through November. The schedule can change when the troupe has another engagement.
